NUR Begins Shipping NUR Tempo Flatbed Wide Format Ink Jet Presses

NUR Macroprinters, a leading supplier of wide format ink jet production printing systems for the out-of-home advertising market, announced that worldwide shipments of its new NUR Tempo flatbed ink jet press have begun.
    
The NUR Tempo is a flatbed, wide format ink jet printer that can produce high quality output on a wide variety of both rigid and flexible materials. The NUR Tempo was designed as a digital alternative to screen printing presses to handle diverse applications, especially short to medium, on-demand print runs that are not cost effective using traditional screen printing methods. It is designed to eliminate the extra steps and costs of finishing – laminating and cutting/ trimming processes – common to other traditional methods of printing graphics on rigid surfaces.
     
The NUR Tempo uses UV-curable inks that give it the flexibility to print on almost any type of substrate. These include corrugated board, foam-core paperboard, acrylic sheets, PVC, polycarbonate, fluted polypropylene, glass, wood and standard rolled media.
